Zion National Park ~ AKA, A hiker's dream come true! It was on this day that I decided to use the next 2 years or so to get myself in better shape to do strenuous hiking!..LOL .. Tad chose a hike that ascended 850 ft elevation gain. You can see Tad on the 'trail' in the photos. The loose sand from the sandstone made it slippery. There were some chains embedded into the side of the cliff to hang on to in some places but that didn't give too much comfort. However, this place was magnificently beautiful and the hike was worth every sweated bullet!
