We went to Waikiki's famous Duke's restaurant with Tad's sister Nan & her husband Mike.
The next day, Tad & I ventured over to the North side of the island to see the big waves. There was supposed to be a National Surfing Competition happening but the waves weren't quite big enough. They looked big enough to me!
Afterward we headed to the small historic town of Haleiwa and got some Matsumoto’s famous shave ice!
