For a Memorial Day adventure, we decided to go check out the Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve and go for a little day hike & picnic. Tad, Lindsay, her friend Chris and I all enjoyed exploring the 637 acre mystery prairie. Nobody really knows how the 'mounds' evolved, we had some of our own theories (moles!)! We picnicked with finger foods and the took a leisurely, country drive on the way home.
