After 2 days of driving, we finally made it to Lake Tahoe! But, not without incident ~ Tad lost his wallet in Phoenix Oregon (near Medford)! Boy! Were we lucky that a really honest person found it and called us ASAP. What a relief!
CA and Nevada are very smoky. Viability is only about 6 miles and although our condo is up on a hillside at 7000 ft, it still seems kind of hazy. We are taking today to just grab some groceries and relax. Tad & I have been battling colds, so R&R seems to be a great idea after such a long drive.
