Making Good Progress!

No new pics but we have been so busy working on the boat. We got rid of the washer/dryer and garbage composter. Tad has been busy building shelves for new storage areas. We have pretty much finished up pre-season commissioning of the boat. Oil, coolant, filters, belt tightening, new raw water impeller, standing rigging tuned, fuel tanks inspected and cleaned, sails cleaned and repaired where needed, tested anchoring systems, battery capacity tested, water maker is getting a check up as well as the life raft, picking those up in 2 weeks. We have on order a new anchor sail as well as updated life vests and safety equipment. *WHEW*

We are finally developing a schedule. We have an excursion scheduled June 29-July 14. A trip into the Inside Passage along the British Columbia coast to Princess Louisa Inlet along with another boat here in the marina. My daughter Lindsay will be sailing with us!

Things are right on track (so far!) It is so funny to find out which items are handy to have on the boat and what is definitely not going to work! We keep getting rid of things. It’s a perpetual making of messes and cleaning them up.. LOL .. but a good life for sure!
