We had the best Memorial Day weekend when Jerry (Tad’s best friend) came to visit! Even though we are currently short a Jib sheet, we used the storm sail and went day sailing anyway! The wind wasn’t great but it was fun just getting out there and trying anyhow. We spent about 5 hours out in Semiahmoo Bay and then returned to Drayton Harbor where we anchored overnight and had the perfect boating dinner BBQ.
When we awoke the next am, it was pretty choppy and we needed to get back into the slip. We had a plan A and a plan B (and C and D too!) Luckily we were able to implement plan A and back successfully into the slip with just minor bloody knuckles for the boys and a little rubbing on the neighbor’s fender. No harm done! :o)
