A few days ago we decided to bring Imagine into the marina as we discovered that Guillermo the diver was going to be in the area doing bottom cleaning and zinc checks. We literally had a perfect green lawn going on under the boat! So for $45 US dollars, we got a fantastic bottom cleaning!
We decided to go ahead and stay for the week. There are showers, albeit only cold water, and water usage for projects. It’s also really nice to be able to just get off the boat and take a walk downtown in the evening without worrying about the dinghy and driving in the darkness over waves. The down side is that the marina is still under construction and so it is quite noisy. For our first dinner out in La Cruz, we chose Italian food at Frascati Ristorante, http://www.frascativallarta.com/ It was SO good!

A possible advantage of cats, beaching to scrub the bottom. Or not. For $45 Guillermo sounds like a very nice option!
Our plan is to marina overnight every week to 10 days whenever possible. It makes laundry, groceries, etc so much easier. And with 5, just think of the sheer volume!
