Monday Dec. 17th – meeting up with sailing vessels Dos Amantes ( www.sailing-vallarta.com ), Raptor Dance ( http://raptordance.com ) , A Cappella and Kavenga ( http://kavenga.home.att.net/ ) we hopped a bus to La Desembocada to go on a hike to a natural hot spring.
What we are finding is that cruisers are the most outgoing people! We rode the bus, hiked down a dusty road and crossed the river 3 times before we found the coveted spot where 100 degree water spouted out and filled bathtub like pools where we soaked and shared wine, cheese, crackers and fruit.
We then moved on to the swimming hole nearby.
Hiking back towards the small town, we stopped at a local restaurant where we all indulged in cold beer and seafood. It was so nice to go inland and experience something different. The hike was good exercise and the company was truly wonderful. Only 1 ass in the whole group (see photo below!)
