We've been watching the tree swallows use the backyard birdhouse that Tad built. They built a nest and now have little ones inside. The kitties have noticed too.. Tad had to rig up the post so the cats couldn't climb up and reach in for a treat! Though they still like to sit at the base and wait .. here is a photo of Motor doing just that!
The mama pushed this egg out of the nest and onto the porch.... Kicked out of the nest .. must have been a teenager! LOL
Our little plum tree has fruit! We are SO excited!
The back yard has been surprising us with a few wild strawberries and the blueberry bushes are full of green berries ..We have our rockers on the back porch, a small patio set, the BBQ and a picnic table out in the grass - perfect for entertaining or just relaxing after a good day!
