The New Brick Walkway..

Most people who come over are led from the driveway right into our side door entry, which opens up into our mud room & kitchen. We wanted to make the front of the house more appealing and direct guests to the front door and into the living room instead. So tad had an idea...




We ordered bricks and sand.. lots of bricks and prepped a brick walkways which we laid by hand.



We made side steps that lead to the porch and a long walkway across the front lawn to another set of steps, which lead to the front door..



Now that we have 2 walkways leading to the front door, we anticipate our guests will follow the trail and enter into our beautiful living room instead of our messy mud room.

Now we just need to close off the side entry that everyone is used to using.. LOL - that's going to confuse the UPS man!
