See the walkway we just finished? Now look behind it and you see Tad on the tractor. This is a new defense move in the war against the moles. Tad wants our front yard beautiful so he has decided to push them out to the other 9 3/4 acres and capture the front area for his own territory .. he's fencing them out!
Yep, the front yard was plowed up and a fence was laid down to keep those critters from popping up through the top and leaving hills and squishy yard. Of course the weather decided to change on us and threaten rain so once the fence was down, we had to scramble with shovels and get the dirt back atop the fence in prep for sod. Nobody wants to shovel wet dirt!!
What a workout - Oh man did I have an aching back the next day but the fence is in place and now we shall see if Tad's plan works! and the saga continues...
