Chamela Bay

We left Bandaras Bay with a whale splashing nearby on Wednesday the 9th of Jan. We were able to sail until almost dark but then the wind turned right on the nose so we had to motor into the night. We went 10 miles out into the ocean and then turned southeast to follow the coast. I saw my first Sea Turtle! Swells were 6-8 feet, which made me sick, sick, sick! YUK! Even the patch didn’t save me! When dawn arrived, we made our way closer inland where we could see our destination slowly looming larger in the horizon. 22 hours after departure, we finally made it into Chamela Bay. We anchored the boat in 25 ft and went to sleep!
