Isla Navidad Resort & Marina

Sunday ~ We checked in at the marina here in Bahia de Navidad that is adjacent to the Grand Bay Hotel. As you can see, it is simply beautiful.
We play tennis in the morning and then come back to the boat to listen to the boaters check in. There is a french baker who delivers fresh bread and croissants to us each morning via his panga (check out the drivers face behind me - ROTFLOL). In my hands in this photo I have a ham & cheese croissant and a chocolate mango/ginger pie. Yum!

Then we can walk the beautiful gardens, swim in one of the waterfall pools, go to the beach or just swing in a hammock on the palm trees and read. There are water taxis to take us to the town across the lagoon. In the evening there are free movies in the hotel theatre. We are always alone in there. There are not many guests right now for some reason, so it's like having this mansion to ourselves.. except we have to sleep on the boat out back :o)
Today (Wednesday) Tad woke up with a touch of the achy flu yuk, so I am so glad we are somewhere that he can rest and be comfortable :o( .. poor baby.
