Asian Pears & Concord Grapes

It's fall harvest season here in WA! Along with our apples, we actually found some super sweet Asian pears on our little backyard tree. We had 1 regular pear ..LOL .. better luck next year with that one!

We also had a huge abundance of seedless green concord grapes. We attempted to make a grape juice concentrate but it wasn't very good. We found a recipe for grape conserve and modified it to use much less sugar and incorporated some glazed walnuts from my favorite walnut place, Red Barn Walnuts. ( http://www.redbarnwalnuts.com/ ) ~ Boy! Is it yummy and we made a lot! LOL = Christmas gifts!
