Mt. Rainier

Have you ever been to one of those places where you think you could take a million photos and still not capture all of the beauty you see? With the kids tucked safely back into their school schedules and summer still hanging on, Tad and I decided to take a trip up to Mount Rainier for the day. We stopped and had lunch at a little cafe then we hiked around on the trails a bit.

Why have I not visited here before? With all of the beautiful plants, thick forest, amazing waterfalls (can you see the rainbow in the photo?) and the gigantic volcano – it is simply stunning! I love Washington!
