Denni's grand-daughter Brittney graduated her GED program from Longview Community College. We had fun rooting her on Thursday night and then went out to a Mexican restaurant for a late dinner to celebrate.
Friday morning we all got up to run down the road to our local bakery! We have a lovely Mennonite family that sells baked goods from a small building next to their farm.
We got cinnamon rolls, rhubarb bread, wheat bread, rhubarb/pineapple jam and Moon Pies!!
The girls had to leave all too soon at noon on Friday .. *sniff*
but here is my love .. the good guy who put up with a few estrogen packed days of cackling and giggling into the wee hours. He cooked, cleaned and smiled the whole time.
I'm a lucky, lucky girl!
