Anchored in Roche Harbor

Sat. June 9th - We decided to stay another day at Roche Harbor after viewing the marine forecast. It rained and the wind blew almost all day! Tad & I caught up on our reading and relaxed for the most part. Stayed on the boat.. I was happy to have the Internet to keep me occupied!

By evening, we had settled into the idea that we didn't 'have' to be doing anything at all. We enjoyed soup and hot biscuits for dinner. Listened to the nightly Taps and Cannon salute performed during the flag lowering ceremony and snuggled down into bed. Just as we started to doze.. the fireworks began!! Huge, Loud, right over our boat!! What a wonderful surprise and a great way to say farewell to Roche Harbor!
