It's time for sod! We needed to put sod atop Tad's mole fence before the weather gets too wet so we made a plan and an order and today was officially 'sod' day (no rain). We started early in the am. Tad made the first trip and came back with half the sod in the truck. We got the first batch laid and he darted out for the 2nd load.
All together we put down 7000 pounds of sod, 30 pound pieces at a time. It took us all day and used up every ounce of energy we could muster. The new lawn looked great when we were done!
