July 4, 2007 – We topped off our fuel tanks and pulled out of Hospital Bay this afternoon, heading for a small cove closer to Princess Louisa Inlet. We must pass through another narrow opening called Malibu Rapids during slack tide in order to get into the Inlet so the closer we are, the better our timing will be.
We arrived at Dark Cove just 4 hours later and successfully maneuvered our first ever Bow-Stern anchor! The cove was lovely, only one other vessel there besides Stargazer and ourselves. There were bunches of mosquitoes and poor Lindsay was their main target. They just love her!

We had Happy Hour on Stargazer, they invited the neighboring boat over too. Then we went back to the boat, installed screens on the hatches and went to bed. This cove was perfect for kayaking but we didn’t have time (boo) so Lindsay and I are itching to kayak at the falls tomorrow.
