Ganges Harbor

June 30, 2007- The next am, we got up and dinghied into Ganges for their Saturday Farmer’s Market and some shopping. What a neat little seaside town! The Farmer’s Market was more of a crafty place, but fun to look at. We did some sightseeing and then went to the market for some fresh fruit and veggies. Back to the boat where we hung out, relaxed and enjoyed each others company. It’s such a treat having Lindsay here with us. Not being used to sailing, she naps.. so while she slept Tad and I went on a hike up to the historic Hastings House and down a public trail through the woods. It was wonderful to stretch our legs and get some exercise! Forgot the camera (boo) so no pics of the hike or town! LOL.. oh well. We picked up some chicken and BBQ’d for dinner, watched a DVD and prepared for departure the next am.
