June 29- 2007- Ganges Harbor ~ our first anchor was at Ganges Harbor after an all day travel via both sail and motoring. We are glad to be anchored!! We quickly got the dingy into the water and headed to shore stopping briefly to say hello to our friends John & Rosie (s/v Eager Dreamer). They were headed back towards Blaine and were anchored for a few nights also! We met Gene & Delores (s/v Stargazer) and their friends Paula & Jim up at the OysterCatcher restaurant. Thirsty Sailors need good beer and good food. It was a little spendy but worth it.. Delicious!
Back at the boat we washed up and cozied in for the night. It was a hard day and we all slept like rocks!!
