We had to pass through a narrow but deep passage between rock cliffs called Dodd Narrows today. This passage must be done at slack tide because of the tidal currents. The photos above show the current and also our friend boat, s/v Stargazer, headed toward the opening. It was very exciting!! Locals are known to sit in lawn chairs awaiting boats to go through at the wrong time, just in case there is trouble!! Geesh! We waited for the perfect timing!
