We drove across the desert to the Sea of Cortez, stopping briefly in San Ignacio for breafast. We saw this really neat blue heron there next to the lake. It is like a little oasis in the middle of the desert!
We then stopped later to view some cactus up close, looked down and saw these huge caterpillars everwhere. They were really neat. I guess sometimes it is best to stop and take the time to look at things!
We arrived at Conception Bay after stopping in Mulage for groceries and proceeded to check out some campgrounds. Most had no water and only pit toilets and were very overcrouded with RV's. After a few wrong turns, we found Playa El Cayote, chose a palapa and set up our tent inside.
