Jan 6th - El Rosario

After the morning boat ride *sigh* .. we left Guerrero Negro and headed through the desert, passing through Catavina and its massive granite boulders. The mountains are really neat as the appear to be just piles of massive round boulders. It's the weirdest thing.


We continued our journey and ended up in El Rosario. A cute little town not far inland from Ensenada. We checked into a castle like hotel which costs $35 per night. The king sized poster bed was massive. It had the brown tiled floors and bathroom and...it was cold! Brrr.. the weather has turned a bit chilly on us here in the desert! We had dinner at Mama Espinosas.
