We decided to continue Northwest and check out a place on the map called Punta Banda and see the famed La Bufadora for ourselves. It was a pleasant, warm drive. We arrived in the early afternoon hoping for a small sleepy beachfront town but instead we were engulfed into a huge tourist trap!

We had to walk through the avenue of mexican markets selling all sorts of junk. Every other booth was a pharmacy trying to sell us viagra! LOL... We finally made it to the end of the marketplace and were able to see the blowhole, La Bufadora.
It was a beautiful drive there and back with stunning views of Ensanada. We headed to the city and found a clean hotel for just $45 per night, a few blocks from the marina. We walked to the waterfront and around the shopping district. A cruise ship was in the harbor and it seemed that things were just winding down from all the tourists. We decided to do somthing daring and ate at a "chinese" food place just a block from our hotel for dinner.
