We left Santa Barbara Friday morning and made the short trek to Ventura. It was a nice day and pretty uneventful (no wind *sigh). We were able to make reservations in advance at Ventura Isle Marina so we decided to stay the weekend so that our friends Mardi & Jerry could make the drive over from Bakersfield and visit.
Mardi & Jerry arrived Friday night and we went out to ‘The Greek at the Harbor’ restaurant which featured Greek Dancers and Belly Dancers. What a fun treat. I forgot my camera so I’m posting these pics of the greek dancers from their web site.

Mardi & Jerry met up with us the next am and we went out for pancakes at Ihop and a quick grocery trip to Trader Joes. We then went to the village at Ventura Harbor and walked around taking pics and shopping. Then we went to the park on the beach and hung out until afternoon. Back to the Village for soup & salads and then we had our goodbyes.
