We left San Francisco Monday morning and headed for Half Moon Bay. We passed by big ships, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz and finally under the Golden Gate Bridge and out to the Pacific. 10-15 knot winds, easy passage to Half Moon Bay where we were welcomed by two whales just 50 yards off the starboard side of the boat!
