Lindsay Is Here in SF!

Lindsay is HERE!! She flew in Friday night and we played all day in San Francisco .. 12 hours straight!! First stop:

JAPANTOWN! We parked the rental car and immediately found a farmer's market where we bought mango chutney and cilantro chutney with some Indian flat bread..lol.. go figure! Then we visited a Japanese book store where Lindsay got her fill of Manga books. Then we shopped in a Japanese mall for a bit. Lindsay posed in front of the Peace Pagoda and Tad was a great sport in a cut out.. teehee..

Then we were off to CHINATOWN! We walked and walked! We shopped an import store and we had a wonderful Chinese lunch at one of the small cafes there. The food was so great! Lindsay wanted to go to a pet store to see koi fish ..

Then... we went to Lombard Street and drove the curves... then...the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE! We took a lot of video and photos while standing on the bridge and watching the tide (Tad's idea..lol) There was a lot of people and it was very noisy!

We the left in a hurry so we could get to the AQUARIUM!

PIER 39 and FISHERMAN'S WHARF! Was next where we people watched, shopped and went to dinner at Boudin Bakery where we had a perfect dinner and I got to indulge in my sour dough bread bowl filled with steaming clam chowder...YUMMY!

It was getting so late. We were all exhausted and ready for some serious sleep but not before making one last stop at the GHIRARDELLI SQUARE for some serious chocolate.

What a fun weekend. I was so happy to be with my beautiful daughter and share this great city with her. Tad was such a sport putting up with us girls all weekend! San Francisco has been an outstanding place to stop and rest .. but it's time to think about getting back out on the Pacific and heading further south! :o)

What a great weekend! Sounds like the 'bugs' got you, though. You two are getting pretty salty when you are willing to leave all that and get 'out on the Pacific'. lol. Tad's e-mail said you were getting ready to go. Have a great time working your way down the coast. To me, that was always the fun part of live-aboard. Love your posts. Will continue to look for them. :)
