Monday we spent at Universal Studios!
The clouds were looking a bit spooky today! But we went anyway and decided to leave the umbrella in the car.
The first thing we did was get in line for the Shrek 4-D showing. It's like 3-D except when the donkey sneezes, you get splattered in the face with sprinkles of water! while we were in line it started to rain so we were already a bit wet anyhow! LOL
There were various movie set areas to tour.
This was a fun prop for photos!
We walked around, rode a few rides, which were actually more like interactive adventures. I liked it better than Disney!
We watched a magic show which was about the time we both decided that we might like to learn how to be a magician - wouldn't that be awesome?
We were almost through the park when it started to rain ... hard.. we took cover and watched everyone scramble. I felt sorry for the people on the roller coaster! Oh boy what a ride that must have been!
Pretty soon there was standing water in the street... and then it just stopped..
The roller coaster looked pretty fun but we weren't doing it... today..
Tad decided to get a little 'treatment'...
We saw the Simpson's..
We did another 3-D show based on the Terminator!
Then headed back to the condo where we dined on steak salad for dinner washed down with some good Boto Box wine.
