We arrived on the causeway about 3 hours before launch. 90 degrees... everyone piled out of the buses and marked their spot!
and waited...
The buses were in rows parked and ready for reloading..
It was SO hot, we packed cheap umbrellas to keep the direct sun off of us...
We were still happy though and SO excited to be a part of history.
people came from everywhere hoping to see the launch. This little guy came all the way from England. He was so fun to listen to as he was crazy about NASA, even had his astronaut suit on the whole time even though he had to sit in the sun & wait.
It's almost time ... waiting, waiting.. we cant get in the water because of the alligators.. haha..
Everyone is excited as the time gets closer. You hate to be too excited just in case it gets scrubbed, but yet you cant help but look and hope...
