Last Morning and We are off to Italy!

Tuesday: last morning in NYC! So we walked out of the hotel to mail postcards and a dead body on a gurney rolled across the sidewalk!!

Ok, ya, time to go. ... (I copied this photo, I did not take it! LOL).

We grabbed our bags and hopped the subway for the last time and headed to airport.

We were super early for our flight so we sat and laughed at these two young girls trying to repack as their bags were to heavy due to shopping in NY.

Finally it was time to check in. They made us check our bags (boo). Flight was on time! The Italian flight had hot meals and they served wine as a free beverage choice. They turned down the lights for us to try to attempt to get on Italian time. However, I sat next to a group of barking hens that were way too excited to sleep. They talked ALL night long, loud, Jersey, catholic women.. haha .. but they were funny characters and you couldn't help but to laugh even though you wanted to choke them at the same time.

After a super long long flight of 8 hours, we arrived in Rome at 7:27 am, Rome time, Wed morning.
